Malawi Team Departs

Posted by Kristy-Lee

This Saturday, these 11 Summit attendees will board a plane headed to Malawi, Africa.

What will the team be doing during their week stay?

1.) They will be working with COTN to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they pour into the lives of Malawi children and widows.

2.) They will be hosting one GIANT VBS. 400 kids will hear about the love of Jesus through songs, skits and games as this team puts on a Vacation Bible School.

3.) They will be helping COTN sponsored children write letters to their sponsors back in the U.S. The team will be knee deep in crayons as they help draw pictures, trace hands, and help the children too young to write compose their letters.

This is going to be one amazing trip. We look forward to hearing the stories about the people they meet and the relationships that are built. (As soon as they are back home, we will begin posting photos and stories!)

Here’s how you can pray for them while they are away:
• Pray that God will be near and clearly present.
• Pray the team would allow the Holy Spirit to work through them.
• Pray the hearts of the team would begin to change and grow in their knowledge of God’s work, will, and want for their lives.
