About Isaac

Follower of Jesus, husband to Rhonda, father to Jada, Ella, and Lincoln, son of Joel and Becky, brother of Josh and Joel. I am fortunate enough to pastor Summit Church, a community of faith in Orlando, Florida, that we started six years ago. I would like this blog to be helpful for those who read it and, at some point, earn me a lucrative shoe contract.

In the Words of Poverty Branch: I Need Some Space

Posted by Isaac Hunter

Here is some great news… lots of people are coming to Summit, which means God is good and you are faithful in inviting your friends.

Here is a wonderful challenge we are facing again: space issues. We had almost 1,100 adults at our 10:45 a.m. service this past Sunday—our sanctuary seats around 820 people. We are looking for things we can do to add capacity, but in the meantime here are things you can do to help:

1. Attend the 9:15 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. service. There are still around 250 to 350 seats left at each of those services… There are about 150 seats left at the 6:00 p.m.

2. Scoot in. It may seem like a small thing, but it’s easier for people to find seats on the aisle.

3. Buy the Dillards at the Fashion Square Mall, and let us use it for a while. (I know it is a long shot, but I figured I would throw it out there.)

Keep inviting people who don’t have a church home. God is doing great things in people’s lives, and we will do everything we can to make more space to reach more people.

Thanks in advance for your help! See you Sunday.
