On January 12, 2010, Haiti was struck by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake, the country’s most severe earthquake in over 200 years. Widespread damage resulted from the quake, leaving countless dead, even more homeless and without food or water. Additionally the infrastructure of the country has been reduced to nothing.
God has consistently used His church in times like this to provide aid and hope to victims of disaster. We are committed taking up our role in this and using the relationships and resources we have to stand with the church in Haiti and provide practical help those suffering and displaced from the earthquake.

Under the Fund drop-down in the Online Contribution portal, please select: Haiti Relief.
Here are the steps we know of now that will help with the long term relief and the rebuilding process:
• We are connecting with other churches that have significant partnerships in Haiti.
• We are connecting with our own ministry partnerships, including Children of the Nations (who operates in the Dominican Republic.)
If you would like to know how to be involved on an ongoing basis, email missions@summitconnect.org. We will put you on an email list which will update you on what we are doing and what you can be doing.
