Baptism Class for Grades K-5th

Your child’s relationship with Christ is the most important relationship they can have and their decision to get baptized is an important step of obedience to God. For this reason, Summit is providing an interactive class for your K-5th grader, and you, to learn about God’s plan of salvation and the sacrament of Baptism.

This class will help you answer the tough questions your child might have about who God is and what it means to be a follower of Christ and will provide you with tools to navigate those conversations with your kids when they arise.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Week 1:

During this first session, parents and children will be split into separate groups.

Parents will gather together to discuss Christ, faith, and baptism, all subjects that will be discussed in a video teaching from Senior Pastor Isaac Hunter and his wife, Rhonda.

Meanwhile, children will come together with Foothills leaders, who will break down some of the essentials of who Christ is and His plan for salvation. They’ll learn more about who God is, what it means to accept Jesus as your Savior, and the significance of Baptism as a next right step in their walk of faith in Christ.

Week 2:

Parents and kids will come together to dig deeper into questions about who God is, what it means to follow Christ and taking next right steps in giving their lives over to Him as their Savior.

We have a great two-weeks in store and we can’t wait to share it with you!
