reGROUP Apprentice Leader

reGROUP is inviting applicants to consider being trained as a facilitator of a small group of people (8 -12) who meet on a weekly basis. Each group meets at the Herndon campus on Monday night.

The mission of reGROUP is to recognize and join Christ in restoring what has been lost in us and through us. By entering into a small group environment at reGROUP we ask participants to engage with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups.

reGROUP is a content driven, guided process of recognizing what has brought our life to a crisis point. Then returning to the narrative of our personal histories, we invite the love of Christ into those places yet to be resolved through confession, forgiveness, and acceptance – offering amends when necessary. Thus allowing God’s love to transform us in the present and alter the trajectory of our lives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS for someone who is considering serving in reGROUP:

• Committed to their Spiritual journey of restoration.
• A good and kind listener.
• Have a passion for helping others recognize and follow the revelation of God’s grace in his or her life to take their right next step.
• Open to a variety of means by which they and others can be transformed by God’s love.
• Willing to be discovered as a leader rather than self proclaimed.
