In light of the recent hurricanes, we know that many of us are looking for something tangible to do to care for those who were deeply impacted by the storms. 

God calls each of us to be his hands and feet in this broken and hurting world, and it is in times such as these that we band together to move toward action. As you pray, give, and offer help to others, you are revealing Jesus and his love to those in need.

Volunteer Opportunities

UP Orlando | Needs 40-50 volunteers each day to help prepare the grocery for influx of donations to restock. All ages welcome (with parental supervision for minors) from 9-6 p.m.


Orlando Union Rescue Mission | Needs immediate help during the day to clear debris from the storm. Please contact Elizabeth Lynn, to sign up. Bring gloves, chainsaws, and clippers if you have them. Ages 10+ (with parental supervision for minors).


Second Harvest | Needs people to help package disaster relief packages for local families and for those throughout the state who are suffering due to Hurricane Irma.


Red Cross | The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

One Blood | Hurricane Irma forced the blood center to suspend donations for several days and now there is a critical need to replenish the state’s blood supply.
