Whatever brought you to check out Summit Lake Mary, you are welcome here. Summit started in 2002 as a church in Orlando committed to reaching people for Christ and inviting people to live out God’s mission for his Church in the city. As we started to grow, there was a desire to reach beyond the Orlando location and move closer to where people lived and could be invited. In 2011, Summit Lake Mary was formed, first meeting at Lake Mary High School (go Rams!) and now in our permanent space off Technology Parkway, in order to live out the vision in Seminole County. You’re invited to worship with us, and we would love to have you join us! We would be happy to answer any questions you have about what or who we are all about.

What should I expect?
We have a rotating team of teachers, modeled after the early church. As a result, attendees get the unique opportunity to hear the same sound, biblical truths from more than one voice and perspective. The music you hear will be a mix of updated hymns along with current worship music in many different styles or genres. Plus there will be a lot of coffee—grab some in the Lobby and bring it with you into service.
Where do I go?
After you park in any of the lots right by the building, a certified-friendly greeter with a name tag will be at the front doors ahead of service to welcome you. Let us know if it’s your first time visiting and we would love to show you around or answer any questions.
What about children’s ministry?
Our children’s ministry is called Base Camp, and it’s a super fun place where your kids can learn that they matter to God! If it’s your child’s first time in Base Camp, stop by the first-time families check-in to get all set up. Let us know a little about your family and how we can best serve you. What do I wear?
Wear whatever feels right for you—while most folks dress casually, we want you to be wear whatever you’re comfortable with.

Children’s Ministry
Base Camp, our children’s ministry, happens every Sunday during our 9 and 11 a.m. services.
Each Sunday, kids from 3 months to 5th grade get to hang out with volunteers who love kids, are playful and fun, and want to show your children what growing a meaningful relationship with Jesus can look like!
You can find the First-Time Families table immediately to your left when you enter the building! There, someone on the Base Camp team will be happy to point you in the right direction and talk more about our children’s ministry.
During the school year once a month, you can pick up your kids and join us in the Sanctuary for BCL! BCL is our 20-minute family production that kids get to take their grown-ups to after in between Sunday morning worship services. It involves a lot of high-energy music and a cast of lively and relatable characters who walk through life learning how God’s truth can transform us.

Students can be dropped off and picked up at the front entrance of the building.

Connect groups, our version of small groups, meet in a variety of locations—coffee shops, homes, at one of our locations, or online. Groups get connected through a wide range of life stages, perspectives, and interests.
