Welcome to Summit Church! We opened our doors for the first time in the fall of 2002 at the Aloma Cinema Grill in Winter Park, FL. By God’s grace, the Summit family has been growing in breadth and depth, creating a dynamic community of believers who come each week to learn, serve, and worship together.
Now spanning across multiple locations and expressions throughout Central Florida, we quickly identified our desire to worship within the heart of our community. Our initial campus, Summit Herndon in Orlando, paved the way for a multisite strategy, allowing us to reach even more people and share the joy of worship with our neighbors.
Presently, our Orlando and Lake Mary campuses serve as our primary hubs, reaching Orange and Seminole Counties. We also have the unique privilege of worshiping each week with our brothers and sisters in the 33rd Street Jail.
As the years progress, so have we, learning and adapting to better serve our community. For us, 2020 marked the introduction of neighborhood churches, fostering organic, grassroots communities that align with our shared vision. Additionally, the digital landscape became a space for worship with the introduction of our online service, initially born out of necessity and now a deliberate choice to meet people where they are.
Whether you join us in person or online, expect to hear the same sound, gospel-centered teaching, and intentional worship. Our commitment is to create safe, inviting spaces for you, your family, neighbors, and friends to explore and wrestle with important questions of faith.
