Twice a year, our entire church comes together to celebrate baptisms.

Join us at Bethune Beach as we gather together for a cookout* and then head down to the shore where we'll scream, jump, and clap for those being baptized. It's going to be a day of celebration and time together as a church family and everyone is invited!

Baptism is an important step in declaring outwardly what God has done in your heart. If baptism is your next right step in your relationship with God, we would love to celebrate with you! As you're considering baptism, if you have any questions or would like to discuss your decision, please feel free to reach out—we would love to connect you with a pastor that can talk through the decision with you!

Onsite baptism registration for adults and middle and high school students will also be available at the beach. All elementary school-aged children need to have attended our Why Believe class prior to signing up—let us know if you have any questions.

Parking at Bethune Beach is limited, so we encourage you to park at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (4000 S Atlantic Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169) We will provide shuttles that will make regular trips to and from Bethune Beach.
