We have always wanted to be a community that is known for how we love and serve others.
We don't want service to be an afterthought, or just the grateful result of success in other areas. We want it to be core to who we are.
In 2006, we came to the clear conclusion that God was calling us to partner significantly in stopping the AIDS pandemic in Africa. How we got there is a winding story, the summation of which is this: God gave us a very distinct direction in how Summit can be part of turning the tide in a pandemic that has no hope outside of Jesus Christ working through his church.
Join by Going
Each summer, teams from Summit travel to Africa and the Dominican Republic to work alongside, encourage, and build relationships with some of our partner organizations. 2019 team dates will be available soon—let us know if you’d like to receive an email when dates are released!
Join by Sponsoring
Our long-standing partners, Children of the Nations and Children’s HopeChest, offer opportunities to sponsor children in several countries around the world including Malawi and Ethiopia, two of the countries Summit teams travel to each year. Learn more about sponsorship programs or sign up to sponsor a child with COTN or Children’s HopeChest.
Join by Hosting
A few times each year, Summit is able to host guests and students from abroad. We enjoy the opportunity to host them well which often includes them staying in Summit homes when possible. If you’re interested in hosting one of our international guests or otherwise helping with their stay, email Nathan Boyett for more details.
Meet Our Global Partners
We hope to form strong partnerships with existing ministries in Africa where we can unite together as individuals and organizations to put a stop to the worst humanitarian crisis in the history of the world. God has always been on the side of the poor and needy. As his hands and feet, it is our honor to take our place in history and join the work he has already started in Africa.
Serve Globally Stories
